We were all made to worship, the question is who or what are we worshipping? is it another god or a statue made in another country? What about TV, we pay for it and spend hours in front of it without blinking, or at least I do. How about food, I go to breakfast every morning to the same place and get the same thing five days a week, did America forget about Jesus? There was a time when the local town would meet in church and pray before a meeting, now there's a separation between church and state, more people have checked the none box more than atheism and Christianity combined, they just don't know what to do, is there choice or are people just not being taught who God is and the great compassion he had for us by becoming one of us, then just like He said, gave His own life to forgive us and end the war between us, yet we still fight and kill our neighbors, we call them enemies and stab each other in the back then rape each others wives & daughters and call it justice, and when we think it's over and the fighting is done, we bow down to an idol, going against a good and gracious God. For a moment remember what He told us to do, --
Exodus 20:1-17 And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

I implore all who read this blog to take into consideration that the scripture is true and that God, who loved us so much that He became His own creation, living among us in the person Jesus the Christ then in fulfillment of the scriptures became sin, taking all our inequity and suffering until He died, forgiving us in that very moment and finishing the work He came down to do, and on the third day He rose up from the grave and appeared to multitudes of people allowing us to see His great love for us and making it possible to have Holy communion with Him in His presence. He will forgive you when you ask, all He wants, is for us to confess our sins and open our heart to His Holy Spirit, so we can learn how to live like no one has lived before.
